Advanced level, computerized text and tagging equipment. Provides a range of tests, depending on item type and records tests into a report.

RCD Safety Switch Cables

Tests for cable connections, wiring and trip currents for safety switch enable extension cables.

We can also test your Residual Current Device safety switch in your building.

Power Tools

Power tools are especially susceptible to damage in many workshop or in-the-field environments. Full testing of power cable, casing and earth leakage is avalable.

Visual Inspections for damaged/faulty items

Many power cords can be damaged which can result in bare wiring being exposed. Going unnoticed these cables can result in injury or death.

Power cord repair / replacement

In some cases damaged power cords can be replaced or repaired on-site to keep your equipment in good condition and available for use.

Power Cord / Extension Lead Tests

All power cords and extension leads are tested for continuity, short circuit and leakage.

Computers / Laptops

Computers and laptop power cables are tested and earth leakage testing can be undertaken in most circumstances.

Chargers

For testing and tagging a battery charger, it’s important to remember that the 240V side of the battery charger must be tested. However, the battery itself doesn't need to be tested as it's an extra low voltage item (ELV) - not exceeding 50 V.

Power Blocks

The cable leading to the power block and each individual power socket is tested to provide a thorough test of the item.
